MEDINAH MINERALS, INC.
Legal Affairs
July 3, 2008
Medinah Minerals, Inc. reported in the Company’s last update to Shareholders that the Counterclaim against Russell Godwin would be expanded to include other individuals.
The Company’s June 27, 2008 filed documents in the Supreme Court of British Columbia enjoin the Executors of the Gordon House Estate, Helga Hansen, Benjamin Ainsworth and Russell K. Godwin as third parties (see attached filed document, Page 2)
The claims made by Godwin in his suit against Medinah et al were reported to be partially established from “documents” Godwin claimed made up part of the House Estate. Management can only surmise that, if the Estate was paid legal tender for the purchase of this part of the alleged debt from the Estate, then the other Executors must have seen the documents that permitted them to agree to the sale of the alleged debt to Godwin.
Godwin states that he purchased these alleged debts from the House Estate for CAD $13.00. Medinah Minerals, Inc., as a purported debtor of the House Estate, should have been contacted regarding these alleged debts as part of the duties and responsibilities of the Executors to the Estate. The Executors, on behalf of the Estate, did not contact Medinah Minerals, Inc., its Directors or Officers, to verify the existence of any debts or rights.
Medinah will continue to actively pursue the various Counterclaims as filed and investigate the possibility of further parties to be enjoined.
